St. Andrew Kim ECEC is a non-profit group daycare established by St. Andrew Kim Parish in 2013 providing early childhood education following Legio Amelia method to parishioners and local community.

St. Andrew Kim Korean School

Established in 1999, this Korean School provides Korean language, culture and history education to local Korean descendants so that they can grow up to be proud Korean Canadians.
Every Saturday classes are taught in St. Andrew Kim parish facilities using the Korean government issued materials for oversea Koreans. The classes run three semesters for 30 weeks a year with each semester running 10 weeks.

  • Semester: New School Year in September

    1st Semester: September ~ December (10 weeks)
    2nd Semester: January ~ March (10 weeks)
    3rd Semester: April ~ June (10 weeks)

    Arrive by 8:55 AM every Saturday

    Class 1 (9:15 ~ 10:00) Korean
    Class 2 (10:15 ~ 11:00) Korean
    Class 3 (11:10 ~ 11:55) Korean

Taegon Senior Academy

Taegon Senior Academy provide classes for parish and local seniors to learn with fun and enjoy leisure while socializing.

  • Joining qualification

    Any seniors over the age of 65

  • Semesters (2 semesters per year)

    Spring Semester: April to June (10 weeks)
    Fall Semester: September to November (10 weeks)

  • Classes time

    Every Saturday 12:00 – 3:50 PM

    Lunch 12:00 ~ 1:00 PM
    Class 1 1:00 ~ 1:50 PM
    Class 2 2:00 ~ 2:50 PM
    Class 3 3:00 ~ 3:50 PM

  • Class courses

    Activities: guitar, Korean traditional dance, Gukseondo, fine arts, singing, etc.
    Leisure: calligraphy, English, Chinese, computer, Bible study, game of Go, etc.
    May vary every semester.

  • Tuition fee

    $40 per semester

  • Registration

    Registration closes one week before the start of each semester. Registration via telephone/KakaoTalk/e-mail or in-person at the parish lobby on Sunday.
    Course fee must be paid in full upon registration. No refunds once courses begin.
