Becoming Catholic
To become Catholic you must be baptized first, and to be baptized you need a certain period of learning about the Catholic faith and catechism.
RCIA: Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the journey to become catholic. RCIA begins September of every year and the candidates will receive their baptism the Easter vigil of the following year. During six month or so of RCIA journey, the candidates are still regarded as preparatory ‘Catholics’ and become part of the church community.
